About

The (Snow?) Fun Run

A trip to Oriflamme Canyon in Ocotillo Wells. This is a moderate trail with snow (if we get any). This trail is suitable for aggressive, stock SUV's. This trail run may change due to weather and lack of participation, be sure to contact the ministy if you are interested.

The trail is a good beginner trail, there are no real chalenging parts with exception to one gully you can drive around. It will be cold and the trail is relativly shorts so it should not be a long day. You will need warm clothes, a CB, snacks, first aid kit, working seat belts, a full size spare tire, factory hard top or full roll cage, a vehicle in good working order (good tires, no leaks or fire hazards, etc.), a minimum of 30 inch off-road tires, (all seasons should be ok) and an unsaved friend. If it snows the trail can be a bit more challenging.

We will meet at the Gas Station on the east end of Julian and leave from there to the trail head. If you are running late on the day of the event please contact the Trail Boss, Brett Stewart, we don't want to leave anyone behind. Register by emailing him at bgstew@yahoo.com to RSVP for the event.
