Church Without Walls

Join us in serving the homeless as we meet at 10:30AM near the corner of 6th Street and Grape Street in Balboa Park in downtown San Diego.
Starting at 11AM , the homeless enjoy a time of praise and worship and a church service. Various pastors come and teach the homeless how to have a relationship with Christ and how to grow in the understanding and wisdom of the Lord.
After the church service we provide donated or purchased clothes, shoes, backpacks, sleeping bags, blankets, toiletries and other essential items. We have a resource and referral table equipped with information on shelters, day centers, medical and dental services, transportation information, and plenty of other great opportunities.
Church Without Walls is "Family-Friendly"! Feel free to bring your entire family, regardless of age.
There is no need to sign up or call/email ahead of time. Just show up! We will be there RAIN or SHINE!
Right now we are looking for Church Without Walls coordinators. We also need volunteers to staff the resource and referral table, to talk and pray with the homeless, and other miscellaneous duties.
