We meet at the Rock in Rm 353
Come to the Rock Photo Ministry's class so that you can learn how to photograph fireworks. This is a great way to learn some basic techniques to prepare for the big show on Independence Day. We will discuss some of the tricks of the trade along with shutter speed, aperture, and how to setup the shot. This will be a fun class that will have some hands on training and won't just be theory.
Items needed for class:
· Camera
· Camera manual if you are unsure of your equipment
Recommended but not necessary:
· Tripod
· Flashlight to help with camera settings in dark
· Understanding of manual shooting with your camera
Fireworks Practice
What: This will be the second part of the class where you will be able to put some of the techniques learned to the test. The fireworks are only 15 minutes long and we should be out by 10:15pm. We will share the photos from this event and those shot over Independence Day weekend at our next meet up on 7/8/09.
Where: Crown Point
We will be driving over to practice after our class time. All are welcome, camera or no camera...come fellowship with us.
