Give the gift of Christmas to a child affected by incarceration.

The cost of the gift is nominal, approximately $40 per child. Each child is blessed to receive a minimum of two gifts ($20 value each, however you are welcome to spend more as you feel led). When you choose to sponsor a child, you will be given their name and a gift suggestion for one toy item and one article of clothing that the parent picked out specifically for their kids. We ask that each gift be new, and unwrapped when delivered.

The Lord has provided 300 children for us to sponsor, and we need your help with prayer and donations. We want to spread Christ's love,grace and mercy to their kids on the outside, and help them receive the true meaning of Christmas; the love of Jesus Christ. We ask that you keep this project in your prayers, and if you feel led to sponsor a child please come to the Angel Tree table at the Rock on Sunday November 22nd or Sunday November 29th, or email Christine Miller (noasrvt@yahoo.com). The gifts will be collected at all services November 29th and December 6th. With Him all things are possible!

Each year, thousands of prisoners submit applications for Angel Tree in hopes to restore or continue their relationship with their children. The inmates are so thankful for the opportunity to provide their children with a Christmas gift. There are approximately 70,000 of these children in Southern California, who have a mom or dad in prison, sometimes both. Statistics show that 2 of 3 of these children will follow their parent into jail. We are reaching out to these kids in hopes to break the cycle through the love of Jesus Christ. The gifts are given to the children as a gift from their incarcerated parent, as a way to strengthen and restore their relationship with one another. The children often feel abandon and broken, and these Christmas presents provide a way to stay connected and to break down the walls.

Instructions for Angel Tree Gift Purchases:

• Please return your unwrapped gift to the church Angel Tree table no later than DECEMBER 6th. Gifts must be new, not used.
• We suggest a price range of $20-25 per gift ($20 clothing item, $20 toy item). You may spend more on the gifts if you feel led.
• Please return gifts unwrapped in a giftbag. Please DO NOT adhere the Angel Tag to the gift. Fill out a SEPARATE gift tag and be sure to write the CODE # and message from parent. Remember, the gift comes from the parent, not the church or the purchaser.
