About

Coral Canyon

A trip to the Coral Canyon OHV park is set for Jan 30th.

Coral Canyon has a sandy play area for OHV's, a moderate trail around the mountain and a few hard core trails as well as camping. We are planning to do the moderate trail and allow those who want to do the hard core trails time to run one of them.

We will meet in two caravans one at the Rock parking lot and one at CVS in Escondido on east valley parkway. The caravans will leave at 7am sharp, please be on time. We are leaving up to 12 vehicles for this trip so please RSVP if you are interested in going.

Bring a lunch and snacks for when we stop on the trail to eat. Bring lots of water, a fire extinguisher and first aid kit. If you have a CB radio we will be on channel 3.

The trail is going to be moderate, the rain may make things a bit tougher. You will need a 4WD with good ground clearance and 31" or greater off-road tires.

You will need an adventure pass for this trip. You can purchase them at sporting stores like Big 5 for daily and annual use or you can team up with a friend and get two for a discount.

Coral Canyon Directions:

The Corral Canyon Off Road Vehicle OPEN Area is located within the southern-most third of Cleveland National Forest near Morena Reservoir.
