This will be our second to LAST ride of the season!!!
We'll be splitting into TWO groups. One group will be families/beginners - riding to the waterfall. It is about 3 miles each way with very little elevation gain. The pace will be leisurely and EVERYONE will be able to ride. We'll stop at the waterfall and then go back to the shop.
The other group is riding to location TBA. We would LOVE to ride the tunnels, but officially they are closed. However, Mike Maio knows of many great trails in this area and the pace will be fast, challenging and an AWESOME ride! This is an INTERMEDIATE ride so please - NO BEGINNERS! There will be decent climbing, though intermediates will be fine.
To wrap up an awesome day, we'll have a BBQ at a nearby location (Hot Dogs etc) along with all the fixings. The location is a gym parking lot one of the leader's trains at - it's under a mile and we'll have a flyer with directions. If you would like to bring food, drinks, desert or anything - thank you! It's not required, we really want to see and meet everyone.
What to bring:
HELMET MANDATORY on all RockMTB rides - NO EXCEPTIONS.
Bike, any will do.
Gloves.
Water and food. 50-100oz snacks for the beginner ride would be good. For the intermediate ride, Power Gel or PB and J would be helpful.
Sunscreen.
