"Do Something": Train with the Rock Runner Team by joining our training runs & fellowship with Rock Runners, Walkers & Triathletes

Coach Dave Pelling has offered to kick-off a training program for those interested in completing a triathlon in 2010. This meeting will start immediately following the regular Saturday Liberty Station run (approximately 9am).  Look for us in the Rock Church lobby.  All levels of triathletes are welcome to attend this meeting.

This session will include:

    Triathlon basics (including definitions of key terms)
    Race types and lengths
    Overview of local races (options for a first Triathlon)
    Training plans and resources
    Equipment/gear requirements and information
    Hydration and nutrition basics
    Swimming safety, instruction/training, and racing
    Key resources (clubs, websites, & Triathlon shops)
