Runners....it's time for a HAWAIIAN BEACH PARTY!!

WHAT/WHEN/WHERE:  Come join us for a day of fun and fellowship at the BEACH!  Whether you run in the morning or choose to celebrate the weekend by sleeping in, meet at the Mission Beach Sports Park just south of Belmont Park from 10:30 am - 1:30 pm for a BEACH PARTY!  Meeting area will be near the volleyball nets at south Mission Beach (across the parking lot from the jetty). Think volleyball, wiffleball, and frisbee, and if none of these games are your cup of tea, feel free to bring anything else suitable for the beach!  There may even be an impromptu limbo contest!

Don't forget you swimsuit!  This party is HAWAIIAN themed, so break out your bright Hawaiian shirt and leis to create the atmosphere of the islands!  If you miss the leaders in their bright Hawaiian shirts, the tiki torches will show you the way to our gathering.

FOOD:  We'll have pizza, subs, and fruit for those who need to reload on carbs after their morning runs.  No run required for those who just want to eat, however!

WHAT TO BRING: Any beach gear you'd like!  Feel free to bring beach/lawn chairs because while there are picnic tables, we can't fit everyone on them.

There are free parking spots here at south Mission Beach.  Look for us gathered on the sand near the volleyball nets or on the grass nearby.
