Rock-N-Ride 2011

Hi Folks!

The Rock n Ride is an annual outreach benefit event whose main focus is San Diego Foster Youth. 2011 will be our fourth such event to raise much needed awareness and funds for the Foster Youth. For the past 2 years we had over 100 bikes and even more participants who paid registration fees and, in the end, were able to donate over and above to Step Up, the San Diego foster youth mentor program via the Rock Church San Diego.

Many Foster Youth are not provided the basics by the state. No sheets, hygiene products, senior class fees to include pictures, yearbook, announcement cards etc. The state will not pay athletic fees for the youth either. Our event raises funds that provides some of these items for the youth. Every penny over costs go directly to this need.

Many people and businesses have helped make this possible and we are very grateful. Donated raffle items and or services are always a hit and also bring in higher revenues for the Foster Youth!

On May 21, 2011, we are holding a "Poker Run" and we are hoping you can support us in donating to our event or riding with us. Thanks for your support and we know that Christ will be in the house to bless this ride and the Foster Youth of San Diego!
