Weather: Hike will be cancel if it rains.

DIRECTIONS:

Los Penasquitos Canyon: West Approach

Exit interstate 5 or 805 at Sorrento Valley Road. Take either I-805 frontage road (Sorrento Valley Road on the west side or Vista Sorrento Parkway on the east side) travel 1.5 mile to Sorrento Valley Boulevard. Turn right and continue 1 mile east to the western staging area for Los Penasquitos Canyon Preserve. There is a parking area on the right.
