God has promised a day for the believer, when He will wipe every tear from our eyes—a day with no more death, no more sorrow, no more crying, and no more pain. But until that day, He has called us to commit to fighting our battles through prayer. By nature and providence, we’ve been endowed with a membership to the Fight Club. And He has called us both individually and corporately to a war room—a place of transparency where we can acknowledge who He is, listen to His Spirit, and intercede on behalf of others.
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal. Our heartfelt petitions are mighty in God for the pulling down of strongholds, casting down of arguments, and every high thing exalting itself against the knowledge of God. Fervent prayers of a righteous man will avail much. And His house, He declared through His own word, was to be a house of prayer.
What if wounded hearts could be bound up, shattered souls could be restored, debased minds could be renewed, and broken relationships could be reconciled? What if God was willing to heal our bodies, heal our land, or relent of a coming judgement, if only we came to Him? What does it mean to ask, to seek, or to knock on the doors of Heaven? Is it possible to rescue those headed towards the gates of Hell, through our prayers?
Join us for this 5-part series, where you will be equipped to fight the good fight in prayer as the beloved and empowered child of the Most High God.
