How do you become more like Jesus? Do what He did. Jesus spent time in prayer; He lived life with others; He preached the gospel and displayed the power of the Kingdom through His actions. He was diligent in making disciples who would make more disciples.
The Bible says in Matthew 28:18-20, “And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you.’” The disciples spent intentional time with Jesus and learned from Him. If discipleship was important to Him, it should also be important to us. In fact, He commands us to engage in this discipleship process.
In this 13-week series, Pastor Miles unpacks the d12 attributes of discipleship. He encourages you to be a disciple who further develops other believers to be fully engaged, self-feeding Christians.
