I drew them with gentle cords, with bands of love, And I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck. I stooped and fed them. ~ Hosea 11:4

So you, by the help of your God, return; Observe mercy and justice, and wait on your God continually.
~ Hosea 12:6

Darah Wilson was one of thirty-eight IMPACT195 world changers who brought the love of God Bangalore, India through planned Do Something service projects.

Their service projects included the painting of an orphanage for children with AIDS and hosting a Christmas celebration at there, completing various cleaning projects in homes for the elderly, prayer walks throughout the city and distributing food and clothing to women and children in house churches located in the slums.

One of the first nights a team member and I had a sore throat; we prayed for each other and woke up the next morning totally fine.

Hear in her own words how God transformed Darahs life through this trip:

One thing God wanted to teach me about was His power to heal. I experienced 5 different healings as a result from prayer. I have been going through some heart-breaking situations so I felt God wanted to teach me things for a number of reasons; I learned He not only heals the body, but the heart.

A lot of team members got sick with bad head colds and sore throats and were in bed for 2-3 days. One of the first nights a team member and I had a sore throat; we prayed for each other and woke up the next morning totally fine.

The next day I had a fasting day and got a really bad migraine. On the way to the AIDS orphanage I asked someone to pray for me and within 30 seconds the headache was completely gone. We had a diarrhea going around. People would have it for 2-3 days. I was supposed to share my testimony with the locals and when I woke up that morning I had this stomach issue. Someone prayed for me and within 30 minutes I was totally fine; the diarrhea never came back again.

We went to one of the biggest temples in Bangalore and afterward left feeling super heavy. Major nausea hit my stomach and I felt the Lord say to me You are not sick. I closed my eyes and repeated His name over and over and said I believe you, I am not sick. The nausea left my body. The next day I had all the symptoms of pink eye. A nurse confirmed it saying that it didnt look good. Someone prayed for me and the next morning I was totally fine.

Darah, having experienced the power of prayer and the answer to those prayers through multiple healings on the trip, was empowered to pray for all those whom God brought across her path. God moved powerfully through her and continues to transform her life. She will start her second term of IMPACT195 this January and plans to live out her faith in radical ways.

Whatever His purpose is in my life He will make that clear. I believe I'm in process right now and that process will reveal a lot as far as what is next.
