No Mistakes

by Danny Barragan | May 30, 2016

God does not make mistakes. Someone reading this right now needs to know that: You are not a mistake!

God did not “mess up” when He created you. You are not worthless. You have not been abandoned or forgotten by God.

You are loved by God.  Remember that. God gave what was most precious to Him so that you could be in relationship with Him. (Romans 8:35-39, Romans 5:8, 1 John 4:16, 1 John 4:19, John 3:16

You are wonderfully and fearfully made (Psalm 139:14). This means every part of you was intentionally crafted by God’s hands. You are wonderfully made! You were the result of a God’s mind, you are a piece of art created by the maker of the universe.

You have been created for a specific reason. This means, God has specifically designed a plan just for you, yes you! You were created to do specific things here in this world, you hold great value and treasure that people are going to want to experience. (Ephesians 2:10)

You were designed to play a role in a big picture. What you are passionate about, the way you think, the way you are wired emotionally (sensitive, compassionate, passionate etc...) the gifts and talents you have, and so much more. All of these are details God created you with for a specific purpose. Your part of the bigger picture is SO IMPORTANT. The human body has so many working parts, and all of them play an important role as the body functions, YOU play an important part, without you, the body would be lacking in how it function . (1 Corinthians 12:12-27)

Why do I share this? Because maybe you struggle like I have before. I struggled to think I was worth something, struggled to think I had anything to offer, struggled with the way I was “wired”. But the reality is that God is taken me on this journey to find out why He has wired and created me the way that He did. Every season (both difficult and rewarding) help me see the “why” a little more. You see, the more I pursue God, the more I see His plan unfolding right before my eyes. I know it’s hard, I know sometimes it’s confusing and we can’t see the bigger picture, but if we would just trust and follow and love Him today, with all of our heart, all of our mind, all of our soul and all of our strength. We will accomplish the plan for today when we keep our eyes on Him. We will end up in a place we never thought we could be, and we will look back and say “So this is why you made me the way you did.” We get to see this piece by piece, moment by moment. Trust Him. His plan for you will surpass anything you could have ever dreamed or imagined yourself. Remember the dreams you have, have been placed in you. Follow God boldly, and see the purpose of your life unfold.

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV) Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding, In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
