Rock Hero: John Cruz - September 2013

Baseball was a part of John Cruz's life for as long as he could remember. One morning, while reading and praying, God prompted him to start a baseball minstry. A baseball ministry? Taking the idea to the Rock's Outreach Ministry Department, he told them he didn't feel compelled to start a "Christian" baseball team. He wanted to be able to reach men, right where they were. The department was all for it.

The Baseball Ministry is a place where John says he has the opportunity to pray for the guys, whatever they're going through. They have Bible studies regularly, pray before each practice and game. And each man that comes to play is impacted through this sports ministry, and introduced, maybe for the first time to Jesus.
