Simply Worship gathers weekly on Tuesday just to praise God. Recently, Simply Worship featured Adrian AJ Wells, A former Rock Church vocalist who now lives in Tennessee. Wells and a few members of the Rock Church choir joined more than 75 people gathered together in the intimate candle light setting for one on one time to praise and worship the Lord.

The choir members have formed a Gospel group that have been featured guests at several local churches throughout San Diego County. They now are introducing a new sound to the line up at weekly sessions of Simply Worship.

"I've been singing since the age of five," said Wells, 20, who is pursing a career as a Gospel singer. "Given the opportunity to praise and worship the Lord with my voice is a blessing. It's truly gratifying to be able to minister to people through the art of music. There's something that music does that grabs the hearts and souls of those listening, and there's no way you can help but to feel the Lord's presence."

Wells encompasses the gift of spiritual maturity and musical talent that has blessed churches across the country with this voice. As a former vocalist of the Rock Church Resonate Choir, Wells has ministered and captivated members of the Rock Church during Sunday services worship through the soulful and eclectic sounds of his voice.

Simple Worship is for everyone, Gospel singer or not.

"As a young adult, Simply Worship has allowed me to praise God in my own way," said Stephanie Haynes, a Gospel group member. "Without having to worry about who is looking at me I am able to surrender myself to God and really worship him in spirit and in truth."

A former Simple Worship leader says the experience sticks with him.

"Being involved with Simply Worship has showed me how to find my "sweet spot" with Jesus," said Gary George, former Simply Worship leader. "Simply Worship and the act of worship continues to play a significant role in my life that has been saturated in Christ. Although I am not part of it anymore because I am going to Seminary at Horizon Bible College, it brings me great joy to glorify my Father in heaven through worship." Simply Worship is available for all to come and sing praise to Jesus.

The weekly avenue of worship is held every Tuesday in Room 232 from 7 PM to 9 PM. The last Tuesday of every month Simply Worship will join Dunamis for worship and prayer.
