If you've turned on the radio lately it's likely that something you heard caused your head to spin. These days we can assume that most of what we see on TV or hear on the radio does not honor God.

Yet, it's a simple but undeniable truth that the things we think about will eventually show up in our lives. The Bible says in Proverbs 23:7, that as a man thinks so he is. In other words: garbage in, garbage out.

But, actually, this principle works the other way too. If we think about God and reflect on His Word and character, we will notice ourselves beginning to live more like Him. Consider the words of the Apostle Paul:

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things.
Philippians 4:8
