Trip | Costa Rica 2016
BWO’s Costa rica Mission Trip
Located on Costa Rica’s beautiful Pacific coast line, Jaco is a small beach town known primarily for its surfing and party scene which attracts thousands of international visitors each year. While tourism is a top source of income for many Jaco locals, the nightlife has negatively affected the community by fueling prostitution, alcoholism, abuse, and cycles of poverty and oppression.
Our desire is to plant seeds of transformation in people’s hearts so this city’s strongholds would be broken through the power of Christ. We will partner with Calvary Chapel Jaco and reach out to people with Jesus’ unstoppable love. With diverse ministry possibilities, you will experience both the beauty and warmth of this community as well as its struggle. You have the opportunity to be a part of a spiritual shift taking place in Jaco.
