Episode Questions
1. What lesson was Jesus teaching His disciples by washing their feet? What do you think was the significant part of the foot washing, the ceremony, the tradition, or something else? Today , how could we model the lesson that Jesus was teaching Hs disciples? (John 13:4-17)
2. The disciples are busy trying to clean and to arrange things for the Passover meal in Phoebe's house, but all of their work is not needed because Jesus already has a different plan. What does this tell us about our hectic and busy schedules for God?
3. Mark received a dream or vision from God to prepare the upper room for Jesus and the disciples. Has there ever been a time in your life in which God revealed something to you before it actually happened?
4. What encouragement can you find in Jesus giving the disciples such specific details about how to find the house for the Passover meal?
5. What basis did Little James have for asking Jesus and Thaddeus if they were angels? Do you think you may have been visited by an angel in your past?
6. Why do you think God reveals somethings to some, but not to others?
Continuing the Conversation
Jesus wanted to hear Little James' story. Have you ever shared your story with Jesus in prayer or journaling, or during a quiet time? What would you say to Him? How would you begin telling Him your story?
