The Regional Food Cooperative Project (RFCP)
We build community gardens for churches around San Diego County. Recipes are created by chefs and analyzed by Registered Dietitians and Dietetic Technicians Registered to meet nutritional guidelines. Videos are created by the chefs to illustrate how to make the recipes, nutrition education is provided to help participants make good choices, physical activity education and opportunities are available for participants to help them thrive. Participants are given an opportunity to earn a food handler’s card to help provide opportunities for work.
