Island Praise & Dance Ministry (IPDM) serves the Point Loma & San Marcos campuses. Practice dates and times are different please see calendar of events for schedules.

IPDM comes together to serve the Lord with a common love and interest for the Polynesian cultures. The ministry is being used to bring women that are believers, and non-believers to learn Polynesian dance and the meaning of movements with respect and honor for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Hula is meant to be a gift performed with humility. Our hope is that hula will share God’s love, forgiveness, mercy, and faithfulness to all. We will dance before the Lord - 2 Samuel 6:14 and David danced before the Lord with all his might. We dance with humility - Philippians 2:3-4 Do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit, but with humility of mind, regard one another as more important than yourselves; do not merely look out for your own personal interests, but also for the interests of others.
