Rock Your City Beautification Event - Point Loma

Let's show our community that we are here for them to love, support, and most importantly, show them who Jesus is!

Join us for the Rock Your City Event on Saturday, March 11. The Point Loma Campus is partnering with San Diego Park & Rec, and the San Diego River Park Foundation, to beautify our neighborhood! We'll be working on two different projects helping to create a more beautiful and safe space for our community. 

Adults and teenagers can join us at Robb Field in Ocean Beach @ 2525 Bacon Street. We will be removing weeds and trash from along the river bank, as well as the skatepark area. 

Parents with young children are invited to join the special kids project at Dog Beach @ 5142 W Point Loma Blvd. Kids serving at this location will receive a free t-shirt and snacks, and enjoy interactive, educational projects.

Volunteer check-in will be setup at both locations, and open at 6:45 AM, with instructions and prayer at 7:20 AM. All groups should be done with their areas by 11:00 AM. 

A few reminders:

• Wear comfortable, long-sleeve clothing and closed-toe shoes for doing gardening/yard work.
• Bring any gardening / weeding tools you may have, to use.  Remember to put your name on them!
• Bring a hat and sunscreen - water and snacks will be provided onsite!
