On Saturday, September 24, 2011 the Rock Church will deploy approximately 500 volunteers to the Barrio Logan community for a day of clean up, landscaping, painting and much, much more! Come out and contribute your time to fulfill our commitment of 250,000 hours to the City of San Diego!
Pre-registration is now closed, but you are still welcome to volunteer! If you did not pre-register, please check-in at the Registration Area on View Larger Map">Beardsley Street and Newton Avenue.

IMPORTANT:
Tools are very limited; therefore, we are requesting everyone to bring
their own tools (if possible; not required to volunteer).
Tools requested:
Shovel Flat or Round, Hoe, Rake/Leaf Rake, Weed Eater, Pruning Shears,Hand Trowel, Wheel barrow, Trash Can, Tree Saw, Loppers, Hand Pick/Pick, Trash Bags, Broom
HEAVY DUTY WORK GLOVES ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED AND WILL NOT BE PROVIDED AT THE EVENT!
Children: 10 years and older are welcome to help with this event; however, all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian.
Parents: Please be aware that certain areas of work will be performed on major streets.
Food: Snacks and water will be available at the check-in stations. Lunch will not be provided.
