Prayer-Sundays

What is Intercessory Prayer? Intercessory prayer is praying for others. An intercessor is someone who prayer for the needs of others.

Are you passionate about praying for others? Do you find yourself praying for people during throughout your day?

If you answered yes to these questions, you may enjoy serving the Rock Church's Prayer Ministry.

The Sunday Prayer Teams ensure that each Campus is spiritually prepared and blessed prior to that day's ministry, and we ensure that the Pastor, who is giving the Sunday message, is covered in prayer during each Sunday service. We pray for the needs of the Rock Church's pastors, staff, volunteers, congregation, and community before visitors arrive on campus and during each Sunday service. The Prayer Team Members select the prayer time they are available to serve on Sundays (7AM, 8AM, 10AM, 12PM, or 6PM).

Please complete the Rock's Volunteer Interest form at http://sdrock.com/volunteerform if you are interested in learning more about serving as a volunteer with the Rock's Prayer Ministry. (NOTE: Please select the Care & Community option when completing this form.)
