Spiritual Wellness ministry and the Christ-centered Fitness Instructor Training students are excited to invite you to an evening class of gentle strengthening and stretching, all as an alternative to yoga.
Join us, expecting prayer, God's word and an opportunity to worship our Lord Jesus through an amazing hour+ of workout. Gentle strengthening incorporates using the body weight as a form of resistance while moving in and holding positions using the major muscle groupds of the body. Stretching involves using breath and gentleness to reach and rest through a series of body aligning postures.
Childcare is available for this special evening event and is offered through your much appreciated donations. Suggested donation is $8 per child. Children must be at least 1 year old or no older than 6. Please arrive early to ensure a place for your child(ren) as this service is first come, first serve (limited space capacity) and sign in is required.
Come prepared by wearing comfy yet modest clothes that are easy to move in. Bring an exercise mat, water to hydrate with and a journal &/or bible.
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30
