The weather forecast is calling for up to a 100% chance of rain in Escondido between the hours of 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. tomorrow, March 2. So to err on the side of caution, the Elfin Forest Lake Hodges Overlook Trail hike is being postponed again. The hike will be re-scheduled at a later date.
It's been quite a rainy season, especially on weekends this winter! Be not discouraged, we will be back out on the trail soon enough. Stay tuned as daylight savings time begins March 10 and we will able to do some weeknight hikes, in addition to Saturdays.
