Rock Cancer C.A.R.E.'s mission is to reflect Christ's love by serving cancer patients, survivors, and their families with tangible assistance and spiritual support. We do this by providing prayer and group support, direct assistance (transportation, housecleaning, grocery shopping), and financial assistance for basic necessities (rent, utilities, food, and prescriptions).

"Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." (1 Peter 4:10)

We help cancer patients and caregivers cope with the devastating effects that a cancer diagnosis can cause to one's life, while also helping those affected not to fear cancer. 

Approximately 15,000 people are diagnosed with cancer in San Diego each year.  To people at the Rock Church who have the gifts of being a server, exhorter and have a heart of compassion toward others who are suffering mentally and physically from cancer, we welcome you to join our ministry.  You will have the opportunity to provide encouragement, education, resources, prayer, and hope in the sovereign plan of God.
