Rock Financial Life Mission Statement: Provide a platform of financial stewardship education, coaching, and community that God uses to transform hearts, free people to live out their God-given purposes, and build the Kingdom of God.

Opportunities to serve:

RFL’s core offerings consist of its flagship six-week course on biblical personal finance called Everything About Money (EAM), one-on-one financial coaching, financial seminars, and the delivery of on-demand financial content. To serve these efforts, the RFL ministry team is made up of people with a heart for faithful stewardship and a willingness to walk with others in understanding and applying biblical financial principles and practices. There’s something for everyone!

Admin – Handles administrative tasks answering general inquiry emails, maintaining volunteer database, checking in students for EAM course, etc.

Coaching – Guides and encourages EAM students as they adopt RFL principles while using the RFL Financial Planner

Community Building - Provides spiritual encouragement and discipleship to support volunteers and move them forward in their faith walk and life

Small Groups – Supports small group leaders as they host the 6-week EAM Course for their group by being a resource to answer questions

Marketing – Coordinates marketing and promotional materials representing the ministry. Oversees our online presence (website, social media), creates emails for students taking  the EAM course, designs graphics and writes copy

Prayer – Intercedes on behalf of our students and RFL volunteers by addressing prayer requests submitted through the RFL website and praying directly with students before and after ministry offerings

Social Events - Coordinates group activities for the ministry team to foster relationships and community

Discussion Leader – Leads small group discussion during the EAM course and offers support to students through weekly emails

Technology – Runs audio/visual components for the EAM course (in person or on Zoom)

Teaching – Presents the EAM course material (in person or on Zoom)

Prerequisites to joining our team:

1) Agree with the Rock Church Statement of Faith

2) Complete LIFE Class at Rock Church 

3) Complete Rock Church volunteer onboarding requirements

4) Complete RFL's “Everything About Money” course (see Upcoming Events for class schedule)
