2020 Hot Wheels Treasure Hunt (photos)

The 2020 set features low production vehicles randomly hidden within other series. To identify a Treasure Hunt you must find the low production symbol. It can be found on the car and sometimes on the card, behind the car.

Baja Bone Shaker

Baja Bone Shaker is 28/250 in the mainline set, 1/5 in the Holiday Racers series, and a 2021 Treasure Hunt. It is black with orange & green flames and graphics.

A jack-o’-lantern with “Treasure Haunt” and “1031” decorates the sides. The Hot Wheels logo is on the roof and “2020” along with the low production symbol is on the hood. The car has a chrome interior, orange off-road wheels with black skull details, and a blue plastic Malaysia base.

This vehicle can be found in mix “A” of 2021 Hot Wheels mainline cases.

The Baja Bone Shaker made its debut in the 2013 HW Stunt – Desert Force series. It is an off-road version of the Bone Shaker that features a skull grille and skeleton-hand headlight casings.

Street Wiener

GTC84 is 41/250 in the mainline set, 2/5 in the Fast Foodieseries, and a 2021 Treasure Hunt. It features a yellow bun and a brown hotdog detailed with ketchup and mustard stripes.

A black grill is in the back and a “Speed Dog” graphic with the Hot Wheels logo and the low production symbol decorate the sides. The car has a yellow interior, red AeroDisc wheels with yellow rims, and an unpainted metal Malaysia base.

This vehicle can be found in mix “B” of 2021 Hot Wheels mainline cases.

The Street Wiener made its debut in the 2017 HW City Worksseries. It is an original design of a hotdog-themed vehicle with a spatula in the front and a barbecue grill in the back.

Custom '77 Dodge Van

GTC88 is 65/250 in the mainline set, 4/10 in the HW Art Cars series, and a 2021 Treasure Hunt. It features a Jack of Hearts graphic on the sides and a playing card design on the roof. “Dodge” and “HW Art Cars” is on the doors. 

The low production symbol is in the halberd and the Hot Wheels logo is held in the Jack’s hand. The van has red tinted windows, a black interior, 5-spoke wheels with red chrome rims, and a black plastic Malaysia base.

This vehicle can be found in mix “C” of 2021 Hot Wheels mainline cases.

The Custom ’77 Dodge Van made its debut in the 2008 New Models series. It was previously a Treasure Hunt in 2013 and 2015.

Motosaurus

GTC90 is 93/250 in the mainline set, 4/5 in the Dino Ridersseries, and a 2021 Treasure Hunt. It is light green decorated with wavy green stripes outlined in dark green.

Low production symbols are between the stripes and the Hot Wheels logo is above the rear wheel. The head and vertical plates are orange and the Malaysia base is dark green. The dark green RA6 wheels have green chrome rims.

This vehicle can be found in mix “D” of 2021 Hot Wheels mainline cases.

The Motosaurus made its debut in the 2017 Street Beastsseries. It is an original design of a dinosaur-themed car that resembles a Stegosaurus.

Skull Shaker

The Skull Shaker is 103/250 in the mainline set, 9/10 in the Experimotors series, and a 2021 Treasure Hunt. It is light purple detailed with yellow & orange flames outlined in purple.

The Hot Wheels logo and the low production symbol can be found on the sides near the flames. The driver is plum, the engine and pipes are chrome, and the 5-spoke wheels have white rims. It has a Malaysia base. 

This vehicle can be found in mix “E” of 2021 Hot Wheels mainline cases.

The Skull Shaker made its debut in the 2018 Experimotorsseries. It is an original design of a hot rod with an oversized head sticking out of the roof. The head moves side to side as the vehicle rolls.
